Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I apply for project finance?
Complete a separate application form for each project on our website. The minimum project loan is USD 10 million per project. Applications must be in English and fully completed.
-
What sectors do you finance?
We provide funding introductions across infrastructure, energy, real estate, industrial, transport, healthcare, education, water management, agriculture, technology, tourism, trade, and other commercial projects.
-
Can individuals apply?
No. Only legally incorporated entities can apply. Personal loans, bridging loans, or private acquisitions are not eligible.
-
Are there upfront fees?
No. We operate on a 5% success fee, payable only if a client receives funds and signs a contract. There are no consultancy fees or hidden costs.
-
How long does the application process take?
Initial evaluation usually takes 3 - 8 working days after submission, including security checks and pre-screening of the project, location, and market conditions.
-
Do you provide guaranteed funding?
No. Project finance involves risk. Approval depends on feasibility studies, due diligence, and site visits.
-
Do you accept project documentation before a site visit?
Yes, but documents will only be fully reviewed on-site. This ensures proper verification and compliance with international standards.
-
Are Letters of Comfort or Letters of Intent issued in advance?
No. These are only issued after the initial site visit and project verification.
-
What about broker involvement?
Registered brokers or introducers can earn commissions on a project-by-project basis once a loan is concluded. Brokers must not charge upfront fees or provide consultancy to clients.
-
Can you finance partial or under-construction projects?
Projects must not be more than 60% complete, and land-only acquisitions are not accepted unless accompanied by at least 30% development investment.
-
Do you accept government or bank guarantees?
No. We finance commercial or institutional projects only.
-
Can you provide project cost estimates or interest rates beforehand?
No. Costs and rates are determined after feasibility studies, site visits, and loan structuring.
-
What is the project site visit procedure?
- Mandatory for legal and verification purposes.
- Executives meet clients on-site, review project documentation, and assess feasibility.
- Travel and local expenses are prepaid by the client but fully refunded upon signing a contract.
-
Do you handle escrow accounts or shared project costs?
No. All project development costs are covered by the developer until financing is approved.
-
How are loans provided?
We form lending syndicates. Loans are funded locally in the national currency, and repayments come from project revenues. We may act as a syndicate member or supervisor but not as the sole lender.
-
Are past feasibility studies usable?
Yes, provided they meet international standards (World Bank, IMF, WTO). We approve all studies and guarantees for syndicate lenders.
-
How is the 5% success fee applied?
It is included in the project loan and payable only after funds are received by the client. No partial payments or upfront fees are accepted.
-
Can brokers or intermediaries represent Prime Project Fund?
No. Brokers act only as introducers and are independent. We do not employ or train them.
-
Can you provide past client references?
Yes. References are available after a site visit and under confidentiality agreements.
-
Who sets the legal framework?
We comply with international laws including the UK Bribery Act, FCPA, SOX, GDPR, MiFID II, and relevant banking and anti-money-laundering regulations.
